Author-made workbooks, audio and curated resources that genuinely help with studying at home and in lessons.
The Books & Resources category is about what you learn from. A good workbook saves months: it sets the sequence, stops you skipping topics and turns scattered words into a system. A bad one creates the feeling of being busy without results. These articles break down the difference.
The core of the section is my own books: Little Panda Tiki for the youngest learners, ABC for the alphabet and sounds, and I Can Speak English 1 and 2 for moving into phrases and short dialogues. I show how each workbook is structured, the order to work through them, and how the same book is used differently with a four-year-old and a seven-year-old.
Beyond my own materials, the section will carry curated external resources: audio and songs, children’s books for reading aloud, dictionaries and apps, and graded reading sites for adults. Every resource comes with an explanation of the task it fits — and the cases where it is useless.
A separate theme is studying from a book at home when the parent does not speak English. That needs audio, simple instructions and a clear rhythm: a page a day, a repeat every other day, a short check at the end of the week. The first posts arrive shortly.
The posts are being prepared. These are the topics coming first.
