Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website anna-yeshchenko.com (the "Site") and the services I, Anna Yeshchenko, provide as an independent English teacher and author of activity books. By using the Site or booking a lesson, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services offered

• Online English lessons via Microsoft Teams — €30 per 60-minute lesson;
• Offline (in-person) lessons in San Pedro de Alcántara, Marbella — €40 per 60-minute lesson;
• Activity books for children, available as printed copies or digital (PDF + audio) versions.

Lessons are designed for children and adults of various levels, including preparation for international exams.

2. Booking and payment

Lessons and book orders are arranged exclusively through direct communication (WhatsApp, email or phone). The Site does not process payments. Payment terms (method, currency, schedule) are agreed individually for each student or order before the service starts.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling of lessons

• Please cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 24 hours in advance.
• Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.
• If I have to cancel a lesson, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

4. Activity books — orders, delivery and refunds

• Digital books (PDF + audio): delivered by email after payment is confirmed. Because of the digital nature of the product, refunds are not available once the files have been sent.
• Printed books and books with a soft toy: shipped worldwide. Delivery costs and times depend on destination and are confirmed before payment.
• If a printed book arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact me within 7 days with photos and I will arrange a replacement or refund.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (texts, photos, illustrations, logo) and all activity books are the intellectual property of Anna Yeshchenko and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell or publicly share any of this content without my prior written permission. Books purchased in digital form are intended for personal use by one student or family only.

6. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation, security or availability;
• Scrape, copy or republish content from the Site at scale.

7. Disclaimer

I do my best to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, but I make no warranty that the Site will be error-free or always available. Lessons are an educational service; results depend on each student's effort and consistency, and no specific outcome (such as passing a particular exam) is guaranteed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Spanish law, my liability arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site or the services is limited to the amount you have paid me for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of the user's place of residence in the EU, or to the courts of Málaga, Spain.

11. Changes

I may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
